Urban musicology is a new subject which was born and has become popular in Europe and America in recent years. Despite its short existence ,it has brought far bigger influence on human culture than any other kinds of art reforms in human history. In addition to bringing profound changes in the course of urbanization,urban musicology itself was greatly changed in its form and has become the necessity of modern musicology＇s development,endowing the study of urban musicology with new and important characteristics in its mode and form.
