What the residents of a traditional village get from their ancestors and leave to their descendents is their unique gathering mode and behavioral manner, which become the deposit of their creativity and intelli- gence bank. Residents＇ behavior is formed and impelled by moral because of this spirit and culture force. How to succeed to this fortune and use it effectively in Chengzi Village＇ s migration planning in Yongning, Luxi County has been discussed in this paper. The essence of the planning includes four basic aspects ： form, colour, quality, and soul. The author tried to find out a scene of life to succeed the characteristics of local traditional culture, bridge the gap of different stages in similar landform and identical ethnic religion, and to keep the con- tinuity and identity of the habitation of Chengzi Village between tradition and modernization.
