In recent years, the international threshold on the import of vegetables went higher and higher, the ＂green barriers＂ have brought tremendous pressure on China＇s export of vegetables. To alleviate this pressure, we need to improve the quality of vegetables, guarantee the security of vegetables so as to enhance their competitiveness. Qingdao city, as a main force of China＇s export of vegetables, has some experiences in dealing with foreign ＂green harriers＂. Through the research on the export of vegetables in Qingdao city, some experiences of promoting the export of vegetables were summed up. According to existing problems, some proposals to promoting the Chinese export of vegetables were put forward, such as adjusting the industrial structure, implementing the strategy of market diversification, improving the ecological environment management, rectifying the agricultural capital goods market, and so on.
