As a technology management tool,the technology roadmapping has structurized and visual characteristics,which can combine demand and technique with the development of product. This essay puts forward four Technology Catching Up Types and functions by Literature review and refinement of Lee Lim＇s types. Moreover,four technology catching up modes are discussed thoroughly based on technology roadmapping with visual presentation.
