In this paper, the movement and force of crowds have been analyzed from the micro-model at high density and the compression and deformation among crowds emphasized. This model is different from the classic ones. The elastic deformation and the movement are closely correlated. It is elastic deformation that results in the force spreading and accumulating in the crowds, which is the important cause of the disaster. The failure of crowd simulation at high density lies in its loss of force spreading.
