The optimal design of triple sampling mean control chart was discussed. The calculating methods of average product length for in-control and out-of-control processes of this chart were proposed,and the optimal model of parameters design of triple sampling mean control chart was constructed to minimize average product length for out-of-control process. Moreover,the effectiveness of this model was demonstrated by comparing with the old design method of this chart.
