6-Phosphofructo-2-1dnase 3 （ PFKFB3 ） is one of the important kinase found in recent years, which regulates cell growth and proliferation. The up-regulation in activity or in expression of PFKFB3 involves the progress of tumor, and PFKFB3 has been regarded as a novel target in drug discovery and development. PFKFB3 inhibitors are becoming a promising solution to tumor therapy. The development in the study of PFKFB3 pathway and its inhibitors were reviewed.
