分布式视频编码在解码端生成的边信息质量对于系统性能有重要影响,高质量的边信息有助于提高系统率失真性能。为此,在分析现有内插和外推边信息生成方法的基础上,提出一种新的外推边信息生成算法。通过分级运动估计和加权矢量中值滤波剔除错误的运动矢量,采用自适应搜索范围的方法保证运动矢量场的空间一致性,应用重叠块运动投射技术真实地模拟运动轨迹,得到准确的边信息帧。实验结果表明,该算法能有效提高边信息质量及系统率失真性能,适用于运动剧烈的视频序列。
In Distributed Video Coding (DVC) , the quality of the side information at the decoder plays a critical role in DVC. The accurate side information can improve system Rate Distortion(RD) performance. Based on tlae analysis oi me existing interpolation and extrapolation side information generation algorithm, this paper proposes a novel extrapolation side information generation algorithm. The hierarchical motion estimation and weighted median filtering techniques are used to generate more accurate motion vectors. Adaptive search range method is utilized to guarantee the coherence of the spatial motion field. Motion projection technique is used to capture the true motion trajectory for getting accurate edge information frame. Experimental results show that the proposed algorithm can significantly increase the accuracy of side information and RD performance of DVC,and it is suitable for sports violent video sequence.
