He is currently pursuing the Ph.D. degree with School of Life Science and Technology, University of Electronic Science and Technology of China(UESTC). His research interests include the interaction between music and sleep, and biomedical signal processing. Chun-Peng Zhang was born in Shandong Province, China, in 1983. He received the B.S. degree from the China University of Mining and Technology, Xuzhou, in 2006. He is currently pursuing the M.S. degree in biomedical engineering with UESTC. His research interests include the development of hardware and software of electrophysiologieal equipment. Dan Wu was born in Sichuan Province, China, in 1981. She got her B.S. degree and M.S. degrees in biomedical engineering from UESTC in 2004 and 2007, respectively. Now she is a candidate for the doctor's degree in biomedical engineering with UESTC. Her research interests include the translation of EEG into music for both analysis and investigation. Yang Xia was born in Sichuan Province, China, in 1964. She received the M.S. degree from the Western China University of Medical Science in 1997. She is currently an associate professor with School of Life Science and Technology, UESTC. Her research interests include neurobiology and neuroelectrophysiology. Yong-Xiu Lai was born in Sichuan Province, China, in 1972. She received the B.S. and the M.S. degrees in microelectronics from UESTC, in 1994 and 1997 respectively. She is currently pursuing the Ph.D. degree with the School of Life Science and Technology, UESTC. Her current research interests include EEGs signal processing and music perception. De-Zhong Yao was born in Chongqing, China, 1965. He received the Ph.D. degree in applied geophysics from the Chengdu University of Technology, Chengdu, China, in 1991, and completed his postdoctoral fellowship in electromagnetic field with UESTC in 1993.
