Dihydrofolate reductase(DHFR),a key enzyme in nucleic acid metabolism,is one of the important target enzymes of tumor resistance.With the research of genomics of DHFR,it has been found that dihydrofolate reductase,the target enzyme of methotrexate,is the main reason for drug resistance.This paper summarized the structure,function of DHFR and its relationship with tumor resistance and described its application and significance in clinic.
