黑素瘤是一种高度恶性的肿瘤,它的临床及病理组织学已经研究得很深入,但是分子水平研究仍在不断发展。黑素瘤抑制蛋白在黑素瘤中强表达,但在黑素细胞中不表达,它可能是调节黑素瘤恶化中的关键蛋白。一些体内及体外模型均提示了黑素瘤抑制蛋白在黑素瘤的发生、发展中的直接作用以及在早期黑素瘤中调节重要的相关通路和蛋白。临床研究表明,黑素瘤抑制蛋白可作为转移性黑素瘤的血清标志物。
Melanoma is a highly malignant tumor. Its clinical and histopathological features have been well defined, however, little is known about its molecular changes. Melanoma inhibitory activity ( MIA ) is found to be highly expressed in melanoma cells but not in melanocytes, and it may be a key protein in the regulation of malignant transformation of melanocytes. Several in vitro and in vivo model systems have indicated a direct involvement of MiA in the development and progress of melanoma, regulation of important related pathways and proteins, and interaction with proteins in early stage of melanoma. MIA may be used as a serological marker of metastatic melanoma.
