Hemoglobins of teleosts（ common carp,crucian carp,loach）,aves（ pigeon,chicken,duck） and human beings were analyzed by electrophoresis of agarose- starch mixed gel to study their stabilities in chloroform precipitation test. It was found that hemoglobins of common carp,crucian carp,pigeon and chicken were all stable in chloroform precipitation test,while that of loach and duck existed instable components. Hemoglobin A and hemoglobin A2 of human were also stable on the treatment of chloroform. The results indicated that there were different manifestations of teleost,aves and human hemoglobins in chloroform precipitation test. There maybe exist polymorphisms of hemoglobin stability.
