With reversible and instantaneous network built in solution, hydropobically modified polymers showed varied rheological responsive behavior under shear. Study on shear rheology behavior and mechanism of hy- dropobically modified polymers solutions are discussed and reviewed, including the influence factors, such as hydro- phobic structures, ionic strength, surfactant and temperature.
