To explore the effect of visual clues on attention bias of children with autism spectrum disorders, eye movements of children with or without autism were recorded while passively viewing four pictures including one human face and four categories of toys. The results showed that： （1） the ASD children perceive target toys time was longer than that of normal children,and the ASD children fixation time of target toys was significantly shorter; （2） the ASD children have difficult in following and processing visual clues in the middle of the stage, but there are no differences in the fixation time in the other stage between the ASD children and normal children. This shows that compared with typically developing children, the ASD children have difficult in following and processing visual clues.
