ZItANG Cheng was born in Jiangsu Province, China in 1982. He received the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering fiom the Graduate University, Chinese Academy of Sciences, China in 2011. He is currently working in the Institute of Electrical Engineering, Chinese Academy of Sciences, China. His current research interests focus on gas discharge and application. SItAO Tao was born in Hubei Province, China in 1977. He received the B.Sc. degree fi'om the Wuhan University of Hydrau- lic and Electrical Engineering, China in 2000, the M.Sc. degree from Wuhan University, China in 2003, and the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from the Graduate University, Chinese Academy of Sciences, China in 2006. He is currently with the Institute of Electrical Engineering, Chinese Academy of Sciences, China. From 2011 to 2012, he has been a visiting scholar with the Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering, University of New Mexico, Albuquerque, NM, USA. His current research interests focus on high-voltage insulation, gas discharge, plasma application, and measurement. Dr. Shao is a senior member of the Dielectrics and Electrical Insulation Society of IEEE and a senior member of the Chinese Society of Electrical Engineering. He is currently the Head of Laboratory of Optical Radiation, High Current Electronics Institute, Tomsk, Russia.
