The solute diffusion equation in solidification process was solved based on the solute conservation of each unit.Considering temperature distribution changing with time,the three-dimensional redistribution of liquid and solid phase solute in Al-Cu alloy dendrite growth was computed in the adiabatic and highly supercooled liquid phase. A numerical algorithm was developed to explicitly track the sharp solid/liquid(S/L) interface on a fixed Cartesian grid. And the evolution of dendrite morphology was simulated.
