本文利用江苏省2000年至2009年制造业分行业数据,对江苏省外商直接投资进入通过水平联系和垂直联系推动本土企业技术进步的作用进行了实证分析。研究结果表明,总体来看,外商直接投资通过联系效应对江苏省本土企业技术进步有一定的促进作用;在水平联系、前向联系和后向联系效应中,后向联系效应对本土企业技术进步的促进作用最为显著。本土企业与外资企业间的技术差距逐步成为外资企业通过后向联系效应促进本土企业技术进步的障碍。

This paper empirically investigates the impact of FDI on local finn＇s technical progress through horizontal and vertical linkage, using the data of Jiangsu Province＇s manufacturing sectors from 2000 to 2009. The results show that FDI generally has a positive effect on technical progress through linkage effect, and backward linkage is the most significant among horizontal, forward and backward linkage effects. Furthermore, we find that technical gap between foreign and domestic firms gradually has a negative efl＇ect on backward linkage spillover
