在无线光通信、激光雷达和光源-光纤耦合等领域中,空间光信号很容易受到外界因素的影响而产生光束的偏移。针对这一问题,本文提出一种球面型大端面特种光锥的光信号接收方法。分别对两种不同球面型大端面特种光锥的耦合效率进行了实验测试。实验结果表明,两种特种光锥的最大耦合效率均为56%。对于大端面球面中心厚度为1.3 mm的特种光锥,当径向偏移量达到2.6 mm左右时,耦合效率几乎下降为0;而大端面球面中心厚度为0.49 mm的特种光锥接收性能则较好,光束水平入射到特种光锥大端面任何位置处都能通过光锥在小端面出射,并且耦合效率整体趋势比较稳定。因此,该特种光锥具有制作简单、耦合效率高、接收范围广等优点,可用于光通信和光传感领域的微弱光信号的接收。
In the fields of wireless optical communication , laser radar, and the coupling between light and optical fiber, the optical signal is susceptible to the environmental factors which may lead to the deviation of beam.To this issue , a special optical taper of which the input aperture is spherical is proposed to receive the optical signal.The coupling efficiency of two optical tapers which the parameters of input aperture are different is tested respectively.The experimental results show that , the maximum coupling efficiency of two optical tapers can be up to 56%.To the special optical taper which the parameter of input aperture is 1.3 mm , the coupling ef-ficiency decreases almost to zero when radial displacement reaches to 2.6 mm.The parameter is center thickness of spherical large endface.However, the receiving performance of the optical taper which the parameter of input aperture is 0.49 mm is better than oth- ers.The beam can transmit through this optical taper no matter where the incident position is , and the overall trend of coupling effi-ciency is more stable.Thereby , the optical taper have many advantages including simple fabrication , high coupling efficiency , widely receiving range.It can be used for receiving the weak optical signal in the field of optical communication and optical sensor.
