This paper multi-analyses the difference between text chance discovery and text mining from the system definition,application environment and goal etc..It analyses the background and status,introduces the chance definition,text chance discovery key algorithm and Scenario map analysis etc.main research fields.It indicates the study orientation in the future based on the summarize of current research’s limitation.
