Currently, coastal areas of Guangxi faced with energy base, heavy base, steel base and medium-sizedenterprises, such as pulp and paper base construction on the northern Gulf Coast produces challenges and potential en-vironmental pollution; marine overfishing, marine aquaculture expansion, influence and destroy the marine environ-ment of the North Bay. Under the current lack of resources and the environment, how effective and rational use of ma-rine resources to meet the needs of regional economic development, is a real problem of Guangxi Beibu Gulf develop-ment process must be faced.
