This article reviewed the development of category learning researches on cognitive neuroscience. Cognitive neuroscience's theoretieal models of category learning include Exemplar model, Prototype model, Boundary model, SUSTAIN model and COVIS model. Its paradigms of category learning include Rule-based paradigm, Information-integration paradigm and Weather-prediction paradigm. The category learning studies of cognitive neuroscience revealed the neuro-physiological mechanism of category learning, and showed that category learning was mediated by different nureo-systems and different areas of the brain. The category learning studies of cognitive neuroscience investigated the neuro-physiological mechanism of different types of category learning disables and these researches provided important enlightenment for the clinical medical treatment and medical recovering.
