A door- to- door survey on manage behavior difference between different census register peasant house- holds in metropolitan suburban areas is carried out in Nanjing Jianye District. The results indicate that there exists bigger difference between settlers from other places and local farmers in the field of producing scale, producing structure and so on. Such countermeasure suggestions as founding and perfecting rural area social security system, rural land joint share system and subsidiary rent house system in rural area are brought forward on the basis of a detailed analysis.
