提出一种多分辨率三角网格基础上的区域分割方法。该方法首先构建多分辨率三角网格模型,然后从多分辨率模型中提取得到一个三维线框;最后将三维线框映射回原始网格提取特征线并据此完成区域分割。研究表明,对结构简单样件,该方法可以准确地完成其区域分割;对于形状复杂的样件,该方法可以给出一个相对准确的三维线框模型,从而提高区域分割效率。
A segmentation approach was presented based on multiresolution model, which firstly constructed a multiresolution model according to the original mesh, then extracted a 3D wireframe from the multiresolution model and lastly finished segmentation by mapping the wireframe model to the original mesh. The presented approach is automatic and can result a good segmentation. Moreo- ver, the generated wireframe can be optimized by human--computer interaction to resemble the origi- nal mesh well.
