The journal of Film And Broadcasting,sponsored by the audio-video department of University of Nanking from 1942 to 1948,is the first professional comprehensive academic journal hosted by university in Chinese film development.First published in the anti-Japanese war period,this journal contributed so much to spreading advanced film,perception of film edmcation,film technique popularization,and frontier introduction.This paper explores the sponsor context,cast and credits,development skeleton and basic features of the journal,concluding its great significance to the analysis of magazines and film magazines in the republican period.
