Fauna of butterfly in Changbai Mountain Reserve was investigated systematically from June 2003 to September 2006. In the total collection of 100 species belonging to7 families, 59 genera and Palaeartic is the dominant. The species richness of butterflies is the highest in Korean pine forest zone, and the lowest in Alpine tundra zone. There is show that the distribution of butterfly is affected by the changed environment.
