ARM嵌入式系统中实现VGA显示接口功能,涉及到时序的构建和数字图像信息的模拟化两个主要方面。对基于ARM920T内核的RISC微处理器S3C2410的显示控制模块和高速的数/模(D/A)转换器进行了研究,提出一种能够广泛应用的VGA显示接口方案,详细阐述了数字图像数据D/A转化并输出到VGA接口显示器显示的方法,其中包括接口的硬件设计、VGA时序信号的实现方法、视频D/A转换器的使用方法等,最后介绍了系统VGA接口软件的设计,并给出了寄存器初始化的代码。测试结果表明,该方案实现了在ARM嵌入式系统应用中直接提供VGA显示接口的功能,占用系统资源少,效率高,可靠性好,能够满足实时显示的需要。
Advanced RISC Machines(ARM)Embedded system implementing display function of Video Graphics Array(VGA)display interface,involved in construct of timing signal and image data digital-to-analog(D/A)converting.Through the research on S3C2410 Liquid Crystal Display(LCD)controller with ARM920T CPU core and high speed D/A converter,a design scheme of VGA display interface is presented.Method of digital image data D/A converting and output to VGA interface display is given,which include hardware design,construct VGA timing signal,control of video D/A converter.A system soft design of VGA display interface is introduced in the end.This method achieves the intention of ARM Embedded system implementing display function of VGA display interface,uses less system resource,plays in high performance and reliability,thus it can meet the demands of real-time display.
