充分考虑磁流变液的Bingham流体特性,对抛光区域磁流变液在梯度磁场作用下的成核状态进行了理论分析与数值计算。在此基础上,根据磁流变抛光过程以剪切力为主、压力为辅的材料去除机理,计算出抛光区域剪切力与压力的数值分布,拟合出剪切力与压力对材料去除的影响因子曲面,建立了磁流变抛光的材料去除三维数学模型。在自制的磁流变抛光机床上进行了实验验证,实验结果和数学模型有较好的一致性。
In magnetorheological finishing(MRF) process, the magnetorheological (MR) fluid was set into the gap between the rotation wheel and the work piece suraface and a MR fluid seal was formed by the magnetic field. Then, in the contact zone, high shear stress and press force was distributed and some materials were removed over the work piece surface. Considering the mechanism of material removal in MRF process, shear stress controlled and press force assisted, an associated coefficient surface was cauculated. A 3D material removal model of magnetorheological finishing process was established. The comparison between the simulation results and experimental ones supports to the model.
