以“产品工程”和“一个平台+五个模块”为主线,重组和优化专业实验项目及教学内容,紧密结合广西资源特色和优势,构建学科交叉的化学工程与工艺专业实验创新教学体系,编写有地方特色的“化学工程与工艺专业实验”教材.以广西重点发展“14+10”产业集群战略为契机,促进化学工程与工艺专业实验室和国家级及自治区级重点实验室的一体化建设,在专业实验室的基础上建成了“国家非粮生物质能源工程技术研究中心——热化学实验室”和自治区重点实验室“广西石化资源加工及过程强化技术实验室”.把科学研究引入专业实验教学,紧跟学科的发展前沿,拓展学生在化学工程与技术学科的新视野和专业实验知识,启迪学生实践创新的思维和智慧,培养了学生新技术和新产品的研发能力.以专业实验项目延伸为毕业设计和论文课题,把专业实验和毕业环节教学有机地结合起来,既提高了毕业设计与论文的教学质量水平又更新了专业实验装置.
