There is an increasing focus on the analysis of CEO personality and the effect of CEO personality on firm strategic decision-making and business performance in the field of strategic management. This paper makes a systematic review of this foreign hot research field. It firstly reviews the origins of CEO personality and strategy research,and then focuses on the development of this field in the past ten years. Finally,it prospects for directions in future research. It not only helps researchers to understand the development context of CEO personality and strategy research, but also offers a new clue for future research.
