According to the requirements for management, update and service of the thematic information of Atlas of Anhui Province and the characteristics of thematic information, the classification and coding systems of Anhui thematic information is designed. It is on the basis of industry classification standard, and integrated the characteristics of Anhui Province. The classification and coding systems provide a strong support for establishing of thematic information database of the Atlas and management application system of thematic map data.
