英文摘要：

Nonredundant connections and dense local clustering among alliance network nodes accelerate the flow of information, and improve knowledge transmission capacity. So the structure of alliance networks influences firms＇ potential for innovation capability. We construct alliance networks of 10 high-technology manufacturing indus- tries in China, and use negative binomial regression to study the impact of alliance network structure on the inno- vation capability of firms. The empirical results show that firms embedded in alliance networks with higher reach will have greater innovative output, and the impact clustering on the innovation capability of firms is not signifl- cant, but it has significant and positive moderating effect on the relationship between reach and innovation capabil- ity of firms. These conclusions will provide new scientific basis for firms to develop alliance activities and for rel- evant government departments to make industrial policies
