Ensuring the safety of genetically modified agricultural products is the expectations of the public but China does not have systematic,comprehensive and specific law involving genetically modified agricultural products. The paper tries to identify what can be used for reference in relevant legislation via summarizing the safety regulations on GM products in developed countries such as the United States,Europe and Japan and puts forward legislative proposals to protect the safety of genetically modified produce.
