英文摘要：

The construction of the regional central city plays an important role in the regional economy development. This paper studies the economic spatial pattern and its change of Huai 9 an city in north Jiangsu province with the help of city central model, accessibility model and gravity model. The results are as follows ： firstly, the linkages among the major cities in north Jiangsu province are strengthening. Secondly, in constructing regional central city, Huai ＇ an city owns a location advantage which is somewhat inferior to that of Xuzhou city. Thirdly, the accessibility of Huai ＇ an city is higher than that of Xuzhou city. There are both advantages and disadvantages for Huai ＇ an city in constructing regional central city. To make Huai ＇ an a true regional central city in north Jiangsu province, the awareness of geographic central position must be established, and the transportation central platform, cultural central platform, logistics central platform of north Jiangsu should be constructed as soon as possible.
