2013年中国企业500强的营业收入总额达到50.02万亿元,相当于当年国内生产总值的87%,中国大企业已成为影响经济发展的重要力量。本文以中国企业500强为样本,利用2002-2013年企业500强面板数据,研究大企业规模、区域分布数量对区域经济发展的影响,验证了中国经济背景下的钱德勒猜想。研究发现：1大企业规模影响区域经济增长差异,计量结果表明省内企业500强的规模对其所在区域GDP总量和人均GDP的增加都具有显著的促进作用;2大企业在省际间的分布对省域经济发展也产生重要影响,计量结果表明,省内500强企业的数量对各省的GDP总量和人均GDP的增加具有正向效应;3经济发达地区大企业规模与数量对区域经济发展的促进效应更加明显,在剔除500强企业为0的地区后,计量结果显示促进的弹性更大。

Chinese Top 500 enterprises which heavily influenced regional development is an important business group in the world. China is a second largest economy through 32 years high growth. This article studies the influence of Chinese big business scale and spatial distribution to regional development with the sample of 2002 -2013 Chinese top 500 enterprises. As conclusions, we have found that there are big enterprises scale effect and spatial distribution effect, the effects are the top 500 enterprises＇ sales and their distribution of number have positive effect on regional economy. Furthermore, the innovation and investment have positive effect on regional economic development. Enterprises effects give a great contribution to regional economic development but widen the gap among the regions in China.
