This paper, firstly based on the characteristics of knowledge in the process of IT outsourcing service, constructs a process model of knowledge transfer in IT outsourcing, and then combining with knowledge of different characteristics in different stages, discusses affecting factors and mechanism of knowledge transfer in IT outsourcing service based on the process model of knowledge transfer.
