As a new educational model,MOOC has prevailed all over China and become an important part ofthe educational models of colleges and universities.Under this background,university libraries,being importantinformation service providers,should adapt to the changing external environment,seize opportunities and ensure steadydevelopment.The paper illustrates on embedded information services of university libraries under the backgroundof MOOC,analyzes Classification,characteristics and existing problems of embedded information service,and thenproposes strategies to implement the embedded information service.
