The spectral and electrochemical behaviors of tetraphenylporphyrin and its derivatives are studied by UV-Vis spectrum, fluorescence spectrum and cyclic voltammetry method. The effects of various substituent groups on spectroscopy and electrochemistry properties are discussed and explained by using structural parameters and theory analysis.
