Reactants and products were analyzed quantitatively in situ under the reaction conditions as follows: styrene was 100 mmol, n (sodium tungstate dihydrate) :n (oxalic acid) : n (styrene) :n (30% H2O2 ) = 2.0 : 3.2 : 100.0 : 440.0, reaction temperature was 92 ℃. The possible mechanism of the oxidative reaction was proposed according to the relationships between their amount and the reaction time.
