The performance about detector need be estimated when designing the detector based on laser guidance. In this paper,the estimation process of the detector＇s design performance is designed and a new estimation method is presented. By a practice example the validity of this estimation method is validated, and the minimal detect power calculated by this estimation method accord with the minimal detect power measured in practice application.
