REN Chengyan was born in Henan Province, China, in 1979. She received the B.S. degree from Yanshan University, China, in 2002,and obtained the M.S. degree in electrical engineering from Xi＇an Jiaotong University, China, in 2005. She is cur- rently working in the Institute of Electrical Engineering, Chinese Academy of Sciences, China. D. degree in electrical engineering in University of Chinese Academy of Sciences WANG Jue was born in Anhui Province, China, in 1972. He received the B.S. and the M.S. degrees in electrical engineering from Xi＇An JiaoTong University, China, in 1996 and 2002, respectively. He is working in the Institute of Electrical Engineering, Chinese Academy of Sciences, China. His current main research interests focus on high voltage insulation and pulsed power technology. YAN Ping was born in Beijing, China, in 1965. She received the B.S. degree from the Department of Electrical Engineering of Tsinghua University, China, in 1988, and the Ph.D. degree from Akita University, Japan, in 2000. She is currently work- ing in the Institute of Electrical Engineering, Chinese Academy of Sciences, China. Her main research interests include high voltage insulation, pulsed power, and biodielectrics.
