The plane voltage wave interaction with a lossless positive-refractive-index transmission line media slab surrounded by a negative-refractive-index transmission line media is analyzed. Under the full matching condition, the voltage distributions inside and outside of the slab are derived. The analysis reveals that the positive-refractive-index transmission line media slab is also capable of amplifying evanescent waves and as a result contributes to the image resolution. In order to demonstrate the perfect imaging capability of the slab, the solutions to voltage due to a single y-directed current source are utilized to computed voltage phase and magnitude in all regions. The numerical simulation shows that the voltage waves at the source, the propagating waves and the evanescent waves, can be exactly recon- structed at the images, and so the perfect image has been achieved.
