英文摘要：

Deployment, as the fundamental of application, is one of the main research contents of sensor networks. The optimal deployment can redound to combining the high end and remote intelligence with the sensor networks local own intelligence, consequently, can realize the function and value of the sensor networks application systems better. On the points of view of random and deterministic, peer-to-peer and hierarchical, and homogeneous and heterogeneous, the extension of deployment is analyzed, along with some key technique issues, such as typical types of deployed components, manners of region treating, and means of deploying. Finally, the further research directions are presented.
