锆石是大型离子探针U-Pb定年技术应用最早和最广的矿物,离子探针U-Pb定年可以有效获取粒径微小锆石或具有复杂环带结构的锆石中不同区域的年龄信息。文中以Cameca IMS 1280型离子探针为例,对离子探针锆石U-Pb定年原理、仪器分析流程、数据校正方法和数据误差分析等多方面进行综述,并总结了近年来离子探针锆石U-Pb定年技术新进展。
Zircon is the earliest and most extensively used mineral for secondary ion mass spectrometry (SIMS) U-Pb dating by which accurate and precise age can be extracted from specific domains of zircons with complex internal structures. This paper reviews the principles of SIMS technique, analytical methods, calibration protocols, and analytical uncertainty assessment of SIMS U-Pb dating as well as recent technical breakthroughs of SIMS U-Pb zircon dating techniques.
