In this paper, a chaotic encryption algorithm based on circular shift and XOR operation are analyzed. It points out that the algorithm analyzed above is robust to chosen plaintext attack, nevertheless is weak to the error code, which the wide use of the algorithm is limited. Through the description and comparison of related algorithm, an improved algorithm robust to error code is proposed.
