This paper figured out the special necessities of hydraulic curriculum experimental teaching courseware, and then, using our practice as an example, the process of design and development of the experimental teaching courseware was demonstrated, which is divided into four parts: structure design, software selection, courseware framework development using Authorware, and virtual hydraulic circuit design using Flash. This paper can be a helpful reference for similar applications.
