Based on literature review, this paper analyzes the status quo and main problems of Industry innovation of Chinese generating set equipment manufacturing industry. The problems include technical introduction restriction, system restriction, enterprises＇resources and ability restriction and resources disperser restraint. This paper proposes industry innovation strategy of Chinese generating set equipment manufacturing industry, including developing many kinds of clean energies, realizing industrial reforming, extending the service pattern, promoting industry innovation level, unceasingly promoting the ability of enterprises＇continuous development and promoting industry＇s innovation.
