This paper summarizes the meaning of cluster innovation network structural equivalence and the identification methods, then analyzes the stuctual equivalence of cluster innovation network. It is found that its main impact on innovation is to accelerate the flow of information and knowledge, to strengthen the formal and informal relations and to make management and decision- making more convenient. Finally, the cluster innovation network of Deyang city is put into theoretical application.
