Command and Control （C2） is spirit of army unit,and is also the core factor of any military force. This term appears in industry age, and is the product of mechanized warfare. Though the importance can＇t be replaced in the field of military, the dominate standing of this term is only like the morning dew,and soon is submerged in those new terms （C3,C^3I,C^4ISR et al） in information age. Nevertheless, the essence of command and control are still starts and basis for all combat systems, and is also the core contents of new military transformation. Textual research on C2＇s origin and evolution is explored,on which we advanced the path of C2 development and the law of military command discipline.
