Leonurine has effect on promoting blood circulation for removing blood stasis and inducing diuresis for removing edema,which has important in the treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia. The recent survey of leonurine was summarized, including preparation and determination method, physical and chemical properies of bioactivity and toxicity, in order to seek further develop-ment and application of new information and ideas.
