物理层抽象是评估即时无线信道质量的主要技术,其算法性能直接影响无线系统分析与仿真的结果。传统的物理层抽象以平均信噪比作为无线信道质量的表征,对无线信道质量进行评估。本文提出一种基于块平均互信息率的物理层抽象算法,利用平均互信息量作为无线信道质量的表征,提高物理层抽象算法的性能。在本文的算法中,首先计算无线资源块所有子载波的平均互信息量,然后得到即时的无线信道质量。仿真结果表明,在Wi MaxⅡDL环境下,对于40%ITUPedA3 km.h-1-40%ITUPedB3 km.h-1-20%ITU VA30 km.h-1混合信道模型、多种调制编码格式以及ML和MMSE检测,本文提出的算法能够更精确地预测无线信道质量。
Physical layer abstraction is an important method to evaluate the instant wireless channel quality.Its performance directly influence the results of analysis and simulation of the wireless system.Traditional physical layer abstraction uses the mean signal to noise ratio as the indicator of wireless channel quality to evaluate channel quality.In this paper,RBIR-based physical layer abstraction is proposed to enhance physical layer abstraction with the help of the mean mutual information.Firstly we compute the mean mutual information for all sub-carriers in the wireless resource block,which is referred to RBIR;then we can obtain the instant channel quality from RBIR.Simulation results indicate that the proposed algorithm can evaluate channel quality more accurately for the mixed channel model of ITU PedA 3km·h-1-ITU PedB 3 km·h-1-ITU VA 30 km·h-1,various modulation and coding schemes and ML/MMSE detection under the conditions of the WiMax Ⅱ DL system.
